“Sick of tea? That’s like being sick of breathing!”
~Uncle Iroh
There are few as wise and kind hearted as the Dragon of the west, Uncle Iroh. Once a great general, he chose a peaceful, serene lifestyle in his later years. He made his impact on others by offering mentorship, spiritual guidance, and lighthearted humor. Although he worked hard and fought valiantly in his life, he was truly a hedonist who needed nothing more than a hot cup of tea and a conversation.
Here are some of his wisest words:
“Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving … you will come to a better place.”
“At my age, there is really only one big surprise left, and I’d just as soon leave it a mystery.”
“Sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life’s true delights.”
“Euch! This tea is nothing more than hot leaf juice!”
“I always say the only thing better than finding something you were looking for, is finding something you weren’t looking for at a great bargain!”
“It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale.”
Cheers,
